Tools and Materials Needed:
- LED neon sign
- Wire hanging kit (includes hanging wire, ceiling mounts, aluminum crimp, screws, and wall anchors)
- Drill with appropriate drill bit
- Pliers (for trimming wire and clamping the aluminum crimps)
- Pencil or marker
- Tape measure
- Level (optional, primarily useful for square/flat acrylic backboards)
- Ladder (if installation height requires)
- Stud finder (optional, for securing into wall studs)
Instructions:
- Select Installation Location: Identify where you want the LED neon sign to be displayed. Consider factors like visibility, power outlet availability, and ceiling strength.
- Gather Your Tools: Ensure all necessary tools and materials from the list above are available before starting the installation.
- Measure and Mark: Use a tape measure to determine the distance between the mounting holes on the neon sign. Mark these measurements on the ceiling where the sign will hang. Ensure these marks are level.
- Thread Wire Through Ceiling Mounts: Pass the top of the wire through both ceiling mounts. If there is excess wire, trim it using pliers.
- Install Ceiling Mounts: Using a drill, secure the ceiling mounts to the ceiling at the marked spots with screws. If drilling into drywall and not directly into studs, use wall anchors to ensure stability.
- Adjust Wire Length: Adjust the length of the hanging wire to ensure the sign will sit level once hung.
- Thread Wire Through Sign: Thread the cable wire through one of the aluminum crimp holes, then through the holes in the acrylic backboard of the sign. Loop the wire back through the other hole in the aluminum crimp, leaving about ½ inch of wire protruding.
- Check for Level and Crimp: Double check to ensure the sign is hanging as expected. Adjust as needed to correct any tilt. Once level, securely clamp the aluminum crimp.
- Connect to Power: Plug the sign into the nearest electrical outlet.
- Enjoy Your Sign: Switch on the neon sign to light up your space with vibrant color.

Additional Tips:
- Always turn off and unplug the sign during installation for safety.
- Double-check all connections and mounts are secure before finalizing the installation.
- Be careful when drilling into ceilings, especially if there are electrical wires or plumbing.
