Every Saturday Neon sign arrives ready to hang, with the hardware in the box. Most installs take about ten minutes. Find your product below and follow the steps.
Check the cord. A 12V sign has a black power adapter with a barrel plug. A 5V sign has a white USB cord with a small three-button controller partway down it.
Wall anchors, screws, black washers, and brushed metal screw caps. The same kit ships with 12V and 5V signs, so all you need to supply is a drill and a screwdriver.
Plus (24" longest side) and Max (32" longest side) wall signs, plus most of our earlier 12V line.
Watch the full 12V install, start to finish.
Lay the sign face up on a soft surface. Connect the power adapter and plug it in. Confirm every section lights. It is far easier to catch a problem now than after four screws are in drywall.
Hold the sign flat against the wall where you want it, cord end pointed toward your outlet. Have your helper mark through each pre-drilled hole with a pencil. Check level before you let go.
Drill at each mark. In drywall, tap an included wall anchor into each hole until it sits flush. In wood studs or paneling, skip the anchors: a pilot hole sized to the screw is enough.
Line the acrylic back up with your holes. Slide a screw through a black washer, then through the mounting hole, and drive it in. The washer sits between the screw head and the acrylic and protects the face, so do not skip it.
Snug is the target. Stop as soon as the sign is held firmly. Overtightening is the one reliable way to crack acrylic.
Press a silver screw cap onto each screw head. Give the sign a gentle push to confirm it sits flush and does not shift.
Connect the cord coming out of the sign to the remote receiver or dimmer, then connect the power adapter to that and plug it into the wall. You have roughly twelve feet of total reach: about 58" of cord off the sign plus a seven-foot adapter cord.
Prefer a clean look with no controller in line? On signs that ship with a wireless remote, you can connect the power adapter directly to the sign and skip the receiver. The sign runs at full brightness and switches with the outlet.
The power cord is soldered to the LED strip inside the sign. It is not a customer-replaceable part. If a cord is damaged, contact us rather than attempting a swap.
Standard signs, roughly 15" on the longest side, from our USB-powered collection.
Watch the full 5V USB install, start to finish.
Plug the USB cord into the included wall adapter, plug that into an outlet, and press the power button on the inline controller. Confirm it lights and that the brightness buttons respond.
Hold the sign against the wall, cord end pointed toward your outlet, and mark through the pre-drilled holes. Drill a pilot hole at each mark, and tap in an included wall anchor at each one if you are mounting into drywall.
Screw through a black washer and into each pilot hole. These signs are light, so it takes very little torque. Snug, not tight.
Press on the silver screw caps, route the cord where you want it, and plug in. Use the inline controller to set brightness.
Prefer not to drill at all, or need to replace something that went missing? These all pair with a Saturday Neon sign.

Three AA batteries and a built-in USB-A port run a 5V sign with no plug in reach. Bookshelf, bar cart, tailgate table. Batteries not included, and 5V signs only.
Shop the battery packDry microfiber cloth. If you need more, use a slightly damp cloth with water. No ammonia and no glass cleaner. Both cloud acrylic permanently.
No. All of our signs are rated for indoor use only. Covered porches and garages still expose the electronics to moisture and temperature swings.
Work backward from the outlet. Confirm the outlet is live, confirm the adapter is fully seated at both ends, and on 12V signs try connecting the adapter directly to the sign to rule out the remote receiver or dimmer. On 5V signs, try a different USB port or outlet. If it still will not light, contact us.
Stop using it and contact us. That is a warranty issue, not a wiring one, and it is covered.
Pull the plastic battery tab if it is still in place, then stand within about 15 feet with a clear line to the receiver. If it still does not respond, replace the battery before assuming the sign is at fault.
Grab a Replacement Mounting Screw Kit. It is the same four screws and four wall anchors we pack in every box.
Yes, with a masonry bit and masonry anchors. The mounting holes in the acrylic are the same, but the anchors in the box are made for drywall, so pick up masonry ones at any hardware store. Our Hanging Chain is the no-drill alternative on those surfaces.
Signs are wrapped for protection during shipping and can leave light residue. A dry microfiber cloth handles most of it. For anything stubborn, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on the cloth is safe on the acrylic face.
Every sign is covered by our Comprehensive One-Year Worry-Free Warranty. Send us a photo of what you are seeing and we will sort it out fast.
